Carpooling: Its fun, reduces traffic and saves everyone money.
Change of Command: On Sunday, 09 NOV 08, COL(P) Jerry Bradford, the current G3, will assume command of the GSDF. Expect dignitaries to attend this event, everyone from the TAG down. Also, make sure that you save your best uniform for the Sunday Formation. If in doubt, get a haircut.
Emergency Contact: Please add a contact into the speed dial of your cell phone labeled ICE (In case of emergency). This number should belong to the first person you would want us to call in the event of an emergency. You might consider adding several in order of priority (i.e. ICE-1, ICE-2, etc.).
Fire Arms: The carrying of firearms on post is prohibited. Unless you want to prolong your visit to Ft. Stewart please leave them at home. If you are unfamiliar with the regulations related to carrying firearms while in uniform please review
GSDFR 600-95

Parking: At the last Generals Staff Meeting the Chief of Staff specifically directed us to past the word that parking is only authorized in designated parking lots, not in front of the buildings.
