Network Marketing

The Pros & Cons

Many people seek out opportunities within the Network Marketing arena, also know as Multi-Level Marketing or Referral Marketing. Often this seems appealing as a part-time opportunity because it doesn’t commit them to a rigid work schedule - allowing for the work/life balance that we are all striving for. I completely get the idea of leveraging time and getting paid for developing other employees – isn’t that how CEO’s are paid?

My opinion on this comes from the understanding that nearly every sales organization is some form multi-level system, regardless if you are a Fortune 500 company or a small business. If you think about it the sales manager earn commissions on their sales team. The division manager earn on his/her sales managers. This is pay for performance all the way to the top.

That being said, before you go down the MLM road you’ll want to read Ann Seig’s FREE Report in The 7 Great Lies of MLM's. Ann has extensive experience in arena and seems to know the ins and outs of this industry. I’ve read her work and feel that it is worth the time before committing to a specific product. After reading the report you will know the inside secrets that the up-line managers won't tell you about.

Again, I get the concept but before you go too far down the this path make sure the opportunity is real and right for you.
